News

Lambeth Council has launched the second instalment of the Your Streets Your Way street design competition. The Council says "Get creative, reimagine your streets and have the chance to win up to £750."

A  number of interesting volunteering opportunities this week from Team Lambeth:

Transport for London (TfL) has launched a consultation on plans to introduce 65km of new 20mph speed limits within Lambeth and various other boroughs. Lowering speeds is a key part of the Mayor's Vision Zero goal to eliminate death and serious injury from London's transport network and enable more walking and cycling in the capital.

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
