News

We have learnt that an application has been submitted for the listing of the Central Hill Estate as an outstanding example of social housing. The estate was designed by the pioneering woman architect, Rosemary Stjernstedt, in the heyday of Ted Hollamby’s tenure as chief architect for Lambeth. The estate would be demolished under Lambeth's regeneration plans.

The Windrush Triathlon Club is back with triathlon and multisport training for people in Lambeth with sessions for six weeks to get ready for June’s Windrush Aquathlon.

Applications are now live to take part in this year’s Virtual Lambeth Country Show. Individuals, organisations and local businesses are being sought to get involved and offer interactive entertainment for the event.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
