News

Swimming lessons in West Norwood (and elsewhere) are restarting for young people on Monday (14 September 2020)  following a five-month shutdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Community Connectors are local people who link others in their local community with activities and organisations that can help improve their quality of life.  Lots of people in Lambeth do this naturally on a daily basis in unpaid capacities with no training or formal support, whilst others do it as part of a structured volunteering role in local community organisations.

On 21 August 2020 we posted details of the Local Government Boundary Commission (LGBC) review of the Lambeth electoral wards, including how everybody could develop and make their comments on where the boundaries should lie. We also promoted the review in our fortnightly newsletters and via social media. The LGBC deadline for comments is 21 September 2020.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
