News

Works are now set to begin on the New Beginning programme of improvements at West Norwood Cemetery. Drainage upgrade, resurfacing of roadways and improvement to footpaths are expected to start the week commencing 1 June 2021 and be completed by week commencing 10 January 2022. 

Lambeth’s Bereavement Services, based at West Norwood Cemetery, have been awarded Double Gold from the advisory body for funeral and cremation services, the ICCM.

Great news today! Its been confirmed over night that our West Norwood Picturehouse cinema is to reopen on Wednesday 19 May. The opening programme is being finalised as we write. Keep an eye on social media and their website here for further details.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
