Lambeth Council’s new strategy for tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) has been formally adopted by Cabinet. Work will now start with the council’s partners on an action plan to support work over the next six-years. 

Lambetrh Council is encouraging people from Black communities to give blood in support of the Bonded by Blood: A Mother’s Story campaign and help the 15,000 people in the UK living with Sickle Cell.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
