News

Shoppers are being urged by the government to hit the high street and support their local businesses during Shop Local Week (10-16 August). With the wealth of local shops and other businesses we have in West Norwood, Tulse Hill, Gipsy Hill and our other local shopping centres we could not agree more. And of course there's also the temporary Eat Out to Help Out scheme operating Monday to Wednesday in August.

Lambeth Council is now to share updated information about the COVID-19 situation in Lambeth via a new Information Dashboard. This is timely as there has been a recent increase in cases in Lambeth. The Council advises:

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has established the London Recovery Board, with leaders from City Hall, London Councils, businesses, the community and voluntary sectors, trade unions, academia, and health and police services, to guidie London's recovery from the pandemic. The Mayor wants all Londoners to have the opportunity to give their input.

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
