The ‘Walk and Talk’ scheme pairs female police officers with female members of the public to walk and talk in an area well known to both of them.

Forty-five knives and other weapons have been taken off the streets of Lambeth after a coordinated series of weapons sweeps across the borough between June and October this year. One operation resulted in intelligence leading to two guns being discovered by police.
