Paxton Green are a time bank charity that work with in Southwark and Lambeth.

Age UK Lambeth are an independent local charity working in the community to support older people, their families and carers. COVID-19 has unfortunately affected the older community particularly, leaving many feeling sad and alone. Therefore, Age UK Lambeth are looking for over 20 volunteers to enable friendly 30 minute phone calls to some of Lambeth’s most isolated residents, helping them feel connected, reducing levels of anxiety and bringing joy to them and to you as a volunteer. 

The Kinetika Bloco is a performance group with an exuberant mix of young brass and woodwind players, drummers, steel pan and dynamic dancers. Their mission is to get young people, aged 8-25 years old, from South London engaged in creative activity advancing their education, skills, and capacity.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
