West Norwood Cemetery Heritage Project and Illuminate Festival

A major conservation and community engagement project at West Norwood Cemetery has officially drawn to a close this summer, marking the end of a six-year initiative funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The West Norwood Cemetery Heritage Project, delivered in partnership by Lambeth Council and the Friends of West Norwood Cemetery, has brought new life to one of London’s most historic burial grounds.

Lambeth Urges Residents to Get MMR Vaccination as Measles Cases Rise

Lambeth currently has the second highest number of confirmed measles cases in the UK since January 2024, with most cases affecting children aged 5 to 11. The council and local health services are urging residents to check their vaccination status and ensure that both children and adults are fully protected.

Funding Approved for Croxted Road Designs

In response to Norwood Forum’s detailed representation on public transport and active travel, Cllr Rezina Chowdhury has confirmed that Transport for London has approved funding to begin design work on Croxted Road, between the South Circular (A205) and Norwood Road.
