Rathbone Society is an organisation that supports people with learning disabilities and young people through promoting independence and life skills, supporting people to try new things and creating opportunities for people to come together.

West Norwood Cemetery Draft Regulations: consultation

Lambeth Council has already updated the Cemetery Regulations for the Lambeth and Streatham Cemeteries, and has now produced a draft of the intended Regulations for the West Norwood Cemetery. Norwood Forum is hosting this public consultation in order to give local residents the opportunity to comment on the proposed regulations.

Weeds v Urban Plants?

Lambeth has just announced it will delay the phasing out of glyphosate spraying on our streets until October 2021. The reason given is that the COVID-19 pandemic has meant that they have had to delay the procurement work related to this service by six months.

Know Your Norwood - Charles Alcock

This year’s COVID-19 delayed FA Cup final will be held a week tomorrow on Saturday 1 August 2020 (5pm) with Arsenal playing Chelsea in a London derby. Its timely then to highlight a sporting visionary who created the FA Cup tournament: Charlie Alcock (1842 –1907). He was an outstanding footballer and cricketer and sports administrator.

Free online Drama Sessions for children

Homes for Lambeth have some free online drama sessions for children and young people aged 7-18.These are aimed at families living on the estates that Homes for Lambeth are rebuilding but we are also happy to invite neighbours living near to those estates along too. The estates concerned are:
