On Remembrance Sunday this year public services and wreath laying ceremonies will be held in Lambeth as part of national commemorations of all of those who have died in war and conflict. The following services have been confirmed on Sunday 13 November across Lambeth:
UPDATE (02.11.22) Lambeth has advised today that the resurfacing works cannot proceed as planned on 7 November 2022 because of a variety of reasons. We are awaiting further information, and will update as soon as possible.
Lambeth has pledged to plant 600 trees in the imminent six month planting season. The planting is part of the Council's plans to address the climate and nature crises whilst bringing a range of health and wellbeing benefits to residents.
Project Smith works at a ‘grassroots’ level to increase networks and social connections between community groups, various health initiatives, local neighbourhood forums, the LCNs, and individuals.
Lambeth Council and Serco (Lambeth’s waste etc contractor) are inviting everyone to take part in a survey to establish what Lambeth residents think about the recycling, rubbish, and street cleaning services.
