Following on from the successful volunteer fair held at West Norwood Library & Picturehouse on 29 November 2023, Team Lambeth is highlighting a number of volunteering opportunities here in Norwood: 

For the first time this winter, the temperature in the capital is below freezing and the Mayor of London has today (29 November 2023) activated the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol, opening emergency accommodation across London. This will give those who need it somewhere safe and warm to stay. 

Further to our earlier story, Norwood residents can expect to see greener streets and public spaces following the launch of Lambeth Council’s Urban Forest strategy. But, as one of Lambeth’s leafiest areas, we will not be at the front of the queue for tree-planting.
