For the first time this winter, the temperature in the capital is below freezing and the Mayor of London has today (29 November 2023) activated the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol, opening emergency accommodation across London. This will give those who need it somewhere safe and warm to stay. 

Charities and local councils will be working around the clock to help those sleeping rough into accommodation.
