Lambeth Heritage Festival 2025

Organised by Lambeth Archives and the Lambeth Local History Forum (Norwood Forum is a member), the Heritage Festival takes place across Lambeth throughout September and brings together a host of over 80 different events and activities with the shared aim of celebrating the history and heritage of our borough.

This year the Festival opens with the Lambeth Local History Fair at Clapham Library, Mary Seacole Centre, 91 Clapham High Street, London SW4 7DB on 6 September 2025 (10am - 4.30pm).

'Sam the Wheels' dies at 98

Clovis Salmon OBE 'Sam the Wheels', sadly passed away recently at the age of 98, was interred on Friday (25 July) at West Norwood cemetery after a service at the New Testament Assembly Church in Tooting.

SEND Young Inspectors Programme

Lambeth Council are looking for young people aged 11–18 with SEND to take part in a paid summer opportunity as part of our SEND Young Inspectors Programme.
