Intro to Community Organising

High Trees Community Development Trust are running a course to introduce you to some key skills in Community Organising.

New development proposed at Tulse Hill Station

Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) are proposing to build a new 7/6/5 storey development on the disused land on the corner of Avenue Park Road and Thurlow Park Road, SE27 next to Tulse Hill railway station. The proposal would deliver a 100% genuinely affordable home scheme with 75 new homes, for local people. New communal spaces, pedestrian and cycle paths are also to be provided.  

ULEZ to be London-wide

The Mayor of London has announced that from 23 August 2023 the Ultra Low Emission Zone will be extended to outer London. Locally this means an extensio southwards from the A205 South Circular Road to include the whole of our patch.

Following a request from ward councillors on behalf of residents, the survey for the proposed LTN has been extended until Sunday, 8 January, 2023.

Equipping People events coming up in Gipsy Hill

The next Community Kitchen is on Monday 28 November 2022 and then every last Monday in the month thereafter. The Community Christmas dinner is to be held on Saturday 17 December. Maths and English classes continue on Saturday mornings. Details for all events in the flyers below.
