As if that's not enough of a reason to give it a go, we also offer FREE cycle training to anyone who works, studies or lives in Lambeth. The instructor will come to you and even show you a good route for your favourite journey. It's a great way to improve your confidence on the road with a session tailored to you.
The volunteer-run West Norwood Free Film Festival (WNFFF) is gearing up for a fourth festival in spring 2020. They are looking for extra volunteers to organise and assist. As before, the films will be screened across West Norwood and all are completely free to enter. No experience is necessary to volunteer.
New members are sought by the Lambeth Ladies Choir, which meets for rehearsals at Chatsworth Baptist Church Hall, Chatsworth Way, West Norwood, SE27 9HN every Friday afternoon. Spring term starts tomorrow Friday 10 January.

A resident of Lambeth has been named one of the ‘Top 100 Changemakers of 2020’ by the Big Issue for her role in making literature more accessible to those who have been made homeless. Through her project Book Refuge, more than 30 homeless services have received books to start their own mini-libraries, with many of these located in the Lambeth area.
