A23 Streatham Hill Set for Major Overhaul This Summer

Transport for London (TfL), in partnership with Lambeth Council, will begin major improvement works on the A23 Streatham Hill corridor this summer. The £24 million project aims to enhance road safety and support greener, more accessible travel by introducing new pedestrian crossings, protected cycle lanes, improved bus lanes and widened pavements.

Controlled Parking Zone for West Norwood

Informal consultation for proposed changes to parking arrangements in West Norwood is now live.
Consultation packs on this new Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) are being sent to all properties, be they residential or commercial within the consultation area.

Dementia Friendly Nature on Prescription

The fantastic Froglife charity are working in our midst at both Palace Road Nature Park and the Streatham Rookery with two weekly dementia friendly gardening and creative nature workshops that are completely free.

West Norwood Cemetery launches volunteer programme

'West Norwood Cemetery: A New Beginning’ is a National Heritage Lottery Fund project that seeks to conserve the Cemetery’s magnificent landscape and built structures, as well as offer new experiences and facilities to increase community use.
