Easing of Covid-19 restrictions paused

On Monday the government announced that Step 4 of the road map to ease Covid-19 restrictions, which was due to happen on 21 June, has been paused to limit the spread of the virus and help keep everyone safe. Cases in Lambeth have been rising this week. If you feel unwell please get tested and self-isolate.

Lambeth Council goes glyphosate free

The council has taken the growing concerns about the health and environmental impacts of glyphosate seriously and is ending its use of glyphosate several months earlier than planned.

Outcomes and a recording of the recent Zoom meeting discussing community concerns over child abduction will be posted here very shortly.
The meeting was at capacity and included contributions from Cllrs Sonia Winifred, Ed Davie and Marcia Cameron, Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP for Streatham, community activists Sandra Moodie and Lee Jasper, and Borough Commander Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove.

The 2021 Summer Camp, managed and run by Lambeth Safer Schools Officers, will cater for about 125 youngsters aged 9 to 16 from 27 July to 19 August at St Martin in the Fields School in Tulse Hill.
