12 Choirs supports mental health and wellbeing by partnering community groups for people aged 50+ with primary schools across London to create 12 intergenerational choirs.

Funded Art and Photography Courses - Starting May 2026

This brilliant course is designed to be hands-on and beginner-friendly. It covers the essentials of photography, led by expert tutors and it takes place at Photofusion, in the heart of Brixton. Cameras will be provided, or you can take your own. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY; you are supported to learn from scratch.

Lambeth Council election results 2026

After a marathon election count at the Kia Oval over 12 hours on Friday 8 May and then almost a further six hours the next day, the full Lambeth Council election results have been decided and are now published here on the Lambeth website.

The overall position is:
​Green: 29 seats
Labour/Labour and Co-operative: 26 seats
Liberal Democrats: 8 seats

West Norwood Cemetery: Spring 2026 update

We last reported in November 2025 on progress with the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) project at West Norwood Cemetery and on other issues. The objectives of the NHLF project were to conserve the Cemetery’s magnificent landscape and built structures and improve access, as well as provide facilities to increase community use and to continue to offer visitor experiences.
