Black History Month 2020

Lambeth Libraries will be hosting Black History Month 2020. It has been a year like no other, and a year which has had a major impact on Black communities, be it through the disproportionate impact suffered from Covid or the welling up of emotion and anger over the killing of George Floyd in America and the subsequent Black Lives Matter movement here.

Have your say on plans to design the new Brixton customer centre

Lambeth Council wants your views on their proposals to design the new customer centre at the Lambeth Civic Centre in Brixton to provide a new face to face service specifically for those who cannot, or who find it very difficult, to access council services online or by phone. The consultation runs until 7 October 2020. Share your views by completing the survey below

Streatham Food Festival

The Streatham Food Festival is back with a difference for 2020. The new look Food Festival will take place 1 - 30 September 2020, showcasing the incredible range of global food on offer in Streatham to eat in or take away.

Lambeth Covid Recovery Plan

Senior leaders for health and care in Lambeth want your feedback on the  Lambeth Covid Recovery Plan and will be holding an online briefing via Microsoft teams on 4 September 2020 (1pm - 2.30pm). You can access the draft plan here.

Lambeth electoral ward boundary review

The independent Local Government Boundary Commission England is asking for residents’ help to create a new pattern of electoral wards in Lambeth. The current consultation launched on 14 July with an online briefing and will run until 21 September 2020.
