Applying for a Lambeth primary school place for 2021-22

The Lambeth Council Schools Admission Team advises: "If your child is due to start reception in September 2021, we would like to invite to join our online Starting Primary School Admissions Meeting which is being held by the Lambeth Schools Admissions Team. The virtual meetings will be an opportunity for parents and carers to find out more about the admissions procedure and ask the team any questions you may have.

Halloween

For all the obvious reasons, there are only limited public events and activities happening for Halloween - here are a few that we have noticed - and that still had places available at the time of posting this story (2.30pm Friday 30 October):

Leisure activities for children over half term at West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre

Junior Gym offers a structured and specifically catered introduction to use the gym for 11-15 year olds.Ftness instructors will give participants a programme of activities to meet their individual goals, including use of cardiovascular and core strength equipment. Sessions are run by Level Two Qualified Fitness Instructors, helping young people to stay healthy and active this October half term.

Lambeth council will be providing free school meals

Ahead of next week’s half-term, the Leader of Lambeth Council has announced that Lambeth council will be providing free school meals to all school children in the borough who need them during the school holiday. He says:
