Business Directory: click & collect and home delivery

The Station to Station Business Directory now includes a fully updated section for ‘home delivery and click & collect’, to highlight all the local businesses open during the current lockdown. This includes those who are essential stores and already offered home delivery (eg Buywise pet store) but also those who have either adapted their business or moved to online platforms - many of the local cafes, House of Cards, Wear Abouts school uniform shop, etc. 

South London Theatre news

The South London Theatre, along with all other venues, has closed its doors for this latest lockdown, but plans for a Christmas show and productions next year are in hand. You can read all their latest news here.

We look forward to the return of SLT, and our other local venues. In the meantime, here's the video of the August 2020 SLT production in West Norwood Cemetery: a Promenade in the Cemetery.

u3A is open for new members

u3a is a UK-wide movement of locally-run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities to come together to learn for fun. Members explore new ideas, skills and activities together. The local Dulwich and District u3a is seeking new members - see details of the wide range of activites now available and how to join in flyer below.

Volunteering opportunities this week

This week's opportunties for volunteering from Team Lambeth are for the role of welfare caller to work with two organisations - Disability Advice Service Lambeth and Age UK.

As the British Legion states: 'Every year the nation unites to make sure that no-one is forgotten and to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.'

Applying for a Lambeth primary school place for 2021-22

The Lambeth Council Schools Admission Team advises: "If your child is due to start reception in September 2021, we would like to invite to join our online Starting Primary School Admissions Meeting which is being held by the Lambeth Schools Admissions Team. The virtual meetings will be an opportunity for parents and carers to find out more about the admissions procedure and ask the team any questions you may have.

Second lockdown

As you know, the second lockdown will begin at 12:01am Thursday 5 November 2020.
