News

There was further devastating news yesterday Friday 26 August 2022 with the announcement by Ofgem, the energy regulator, that the household energy price cap will dramatically increase from £1971 to £3,549 from 1 October 2022. There is expected to be a further rise in January next year. For many people now will be the time to take stock and seek financial support in time for the winter.

Grants of up to £20,000 (over 24 months) are available through the Lambeth Community Fund, which focuses on improving the wellbeing and quality of life of Lambeth residents. Wellbeing covers a broad range of components that an individual needs to live a full and well-rounded life.

Lambeth Libraries is one of 15 authorities to receive an award from the Green Libraries Grant Fund for a project running until the end of October. The project will show how an environmentally friendly lifestyle can also help save you money.

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
