Lambeth Council has sent a reminder that their consultation on the initial design ideas for their proposals to introduce a new LTN in Streatham Wells will close on Sunday 8 January 2023. So if you want to have your say on the designs, do so now:
Either Have your say online;
Or write to: lowtrafficneighbourhoods@lambeth.gov.uk
The closing date for comments was extended as a result of representations from ward councillors. See our story back on 24 November 2022 for further detail on the proposed LTN. Knight's Hill ward councillors have established a stakeholder group to consider and respond to issues identified that potentially will adversely affect residents neighbouring the new LTN - on our patch that is primarily Leigham Court Road, the roads adjoining on the eastern side and the rest of Knights' Hill ward.
In the meantime, if you have not already done so, please sign the petition for improved road safety on Leigham Court Road around St. Julian's School.
Residents of Knights' Hill ward were not consulted directly on the Streatham Wells LTN plans. Now that possible adverse implications have been identified, we expect the stakeholder group to input into the ongoing consultation with a view to obtaining a positive outcome for Knights Hill ward residents.
