Children’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health helps them develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and grow into well-rounded, healthy adults.
Ahead of Children's Mental Health Week, It's a playground are running a session on Mental Health Awareness for Young People. This is for individuals who want to know a little more about how to support the mental health of young people.
The wellbeing education sessions will be taking place monthly. You can now sign up for all of the 11 remaining sessions this year.
The theme of Children's Mental Health Week this year is "Growing Together" so learners will be encouraged to consider how they have grown, and how they can help the young people around them to grow.
