Movers & Makers Summer Camp

Movers & Makers C.I.C are so excited to be hosting inclusive kids activities in the community this summer! Their first inclusive kids holiday camp at Rosendale Community Centre took place July 26 -28 and they are looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces at the late August inclusive kids holiday camp for more play, craft, acting, moving!

Morley College are running a new course starting in September this year to train the first ever Lambeth Guides.

Beacon Project Friday Drop-in at St Mark’s Church, Kennington

AT Beacon Project aims to be a bridge between African-Caribbean communities in South East London and the healthcare system.

Friday drop-ins 2pm-5pm continue at St Mark’s in Kennington and are a chance to meet people, have an informal chat about your health with a nurse and to grab a drink and a snack. If you have questions or worries about how to look after your health or about the COVID-19 vaccination, bring them along and there will be help to get your questions answered.

Community wellness sessions with local pharmacists

Community pharmacists across south east London have arranged a series of online and face-to-face events throughout August to discuss with local people how to self-care and how to improve wellness as well as explain their role in helping people look after their own health.

Who is eligible?
You can now get the COVID-19 vaccine if you're aged 18 or over.
You are also eligible if you are clinically extremely vulnerable, have other conditions that make you high-risk, you are a carer, you live/work in a care home, you are a front line health or social care worker.

Lambeth responds to Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) report

The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) has now published its report about abuse of children and young people formerly in care in Lambeth. The council of the past failed to protect many of its most vulnerable children and we take responsibility for creating conditions in which horrific abuse was able to take place. 

Community TechAid

Community TechAid came together in March 2020 to help bridge the digital divide in Lambeth by supplying internet enabled devices to members of the community who would not otherwise be able to obtain them.
