The local council elections are on Thursday 7 May 2026. If you want to vote, you must be registered. You can apply online to register to vote. It is quick and easy to do and the deadline is fast approaching: Monday 20 April.
Following a prolonged period of financial difficulty, Fusion Lifestyle, the operator of Brockwell Lido, fell into receivership on 1 April 2026. Lambeth Council has announced it has secure the Lido's future by taking over its management from 1 July.

The festival incorporates Artists Open House. which runs over both weekends (9&10 and 16&17 May) and includes shows by many local artists.
