Have your say on the draft Age Friendly action plan

As part of Lambeth Council's 2030 Borough Plan, an action plan is being developed to support the local approach to becoming an Age Friendly borough, and consultation is now underway on the draft.

The age friendly forum, Age Today, has already given feedback which has informed the approach to this consultation and will continue to feed into the action plan’s development after the consultation has closed.

Accessible cycle loan scheme arrives in London

Sustrans, the charity making it easier for everyone to walk, wheel and cycle, is working with partners to create a London-wide accessible cycle loan scheme to provide improved options to travel actively for disabled people across the capital.

Dr Bike sessions: summer 2024

At the free Dr Bike sessions, experienced mechanics check everything on your bike, from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. 

NEW Men's Group at Centre 70

Centre 70 is to run a new free men's group which will aim to encourage and support one another to share any mental/physical health concerns you have. Further details in the flyer below.

Urban greening along Norwood Road with Open Orchard

Some of you may have noticed the pavement beds along Norwood Road. The beds start outside the Knowles of Norwood pub and end outside Village Masaleh curry house at the Tulse Hill end. Local community group Open Orchard have recently launched a new project, the SE27 Street Gardeners, to look after the beds by adding new plants and tidying.
