School uniform pop-up swap shops in Lambeth

Pop up school uniform shops are opening across the borough to support families during the cost of living crisis and to help them cut down on environmental waste. The shops offer families free items including clothing, stationary and other items needed for school. Families can also bring items they no longer need, which can be swapped for items they do need. The shops are open on specific days until 1 September 2023.

The scheme has been amended a little from the original proposals to reflect some comments received during the in-ward consultation exercise. LTNs are introduced on an 18 month trial basis, and this allows the implementation to be tested in practice.
