Promotion for local businesses

Lambeth Country Show has written (14 April) to offer help in promoting local businesses:

“As we’re all aware, this is a trying time for most businesses and we at the Lambeth Country show would like to help in any way we can.
We’ve created a very simple form for you to fill out so that we can help promote your business through these difficult times.

Lock-down Diaries

The Lock-down Diaries is a Lambeth Archives project to collect local people’s experiences of the Corona virus epidemic in Lambeth. The project is to encourage people living in the borough to start keeping, and then to send to the Archives, copies of diaries documenting their lives right now.

A message from the Leader of Lambeth Council

Norwood street histories

The Norwood Society has created a unique website dedicated to history of streets in Upper Norwood, South Norwood and West Norwood and their residents. Discover the history of your house, your road, or one nearby, by visiting the site.

West Norwood Library

All Lambeth libraries are physically closed, but continue to provide a wealth of online services to library members, which are largely free.

Norwood and Brixton Foodbank: now delivery only

As a result of the government's restrictions on movement and gatherings in public the Norwood & Brixton Foodbank teams based at St Luke's, Norwood and St Paul's, Brixton are no longer running face to face and pick up sessions and the centres are now closed. Norwood & Brixton Foodbank have moved to a full delivery service operating from the warehouse at St Margaret's, Streatham.
