Helen Hayes MP, like all other MPs and our local Councillors, has had to suspend her advice surgeries. Advice on her website states:
“Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my upcoming advice surgeries. This is in keeping with Public Health England guidance and to ensure the safety of my constituents and my team.
I will be operating a telephone advice surgery for new cases only until I am able to resume my regular face to face advice surgeries. Please email helen.hayes.mp@parliament.uk to arrange an appointment.
I hope you will be able to understand that due to limited capacity in my team at this time, I can only offer appointments for new cases. If you were planning to attend surgery in relation to an existing case, please rest assured that my team and I are continuing to work hard on your behalf. We will be in touch as soon as receive any responses on your behalf and there is no need to attend surgery or to arrange a telephone appointment to receive an update. At this very challenging time, the Government, Lambeth Council and Southwark Council are all directing their resources to preventing the spread of coronavirus and this may cause delays in receiving responses to your case.
If you would like to contact me, please email helen.hayes.mp@parliament.uk. Please be sure to include your full name, address including postcode and any relevant reference number. I receive hundreds of emails every week. Please rest assured that I will be in touch as soon as I am able to.
You can also contact me by calling 020 7219 6971 and leaving a message. Voice messages are monitored daily and a member of my team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your situation in more detail.”
