Voter Registration

You may have seen one of these cards on your doormat and wondered what this was all about? Lambeth’s Electoral Registration Officer must undertake a canvass of all households in the borough each year to check voter details are correct. 'Canvassers' are out and about knocking on the doors of residents who have not already confirmed their details have changed - and more importantly - confirmed their details remain unchanged. You have to do this every year.

Great North Wood photography competition 2020

London Wildlife Trust are looking for beautiful, inspiring, funny, surprising photos of the Great North Wood. The best thirteen images will be chosen for the Great North Wood 2021 Calendar. The winners will receive a free calendar and the overall winner will get a meal for two at The Great North Wood pub.

Food hub: Council tender

Building on the learning from the first phase of COVID-19, Lambeth Council wishes to commission the food voluntary and community sector to improve access to surplus food (and where possible other types of food) to residents in need. The Council is seeking to fund:

South London Botanical Institute: Tales from the Fruit Bowl

More news from the SLBI. Four talks on favorite fruit and veg; botany, history, medicine, folklore, ethnobotany, as well as their plant family connections and a myriad mix of fascination and information. You can book for each one on separate tickets or all four on a multi ticket.
