Clear Community Web are running a series of free online courses using Zoom covering:

To help people learn how to use the internet safely and be more comfortable with technology.
The class is available to all but please contact Caspar first (see below) if you have not attended the regular classes at Upper Norwood Library.
Zoom: learning and practising the basics: Mondays from 11am
Introductory sessions to give local residents and groups an opportunity to learn and practice the basics, without any pressure and no question is too basic.
All are welcome:
• Practice video/ audio settings
• Practice using chat and ‘reactions’
• Sharing screens and sending files
• Whiteboards and annotation
• Breakout rooms
• Creating an account
• Scheduling a meeting
• Your questions asked.
These sessions run on a weekly basis (11, 18, 25 May,1st June) but separate sessions can be arranged for groups of four or more.
Online shopping explained: Monday 18 May and 1 June 2020
This course will cover:
• What you need to create an account and make an order
• Searching for products and booking a delivery slot
• Look at the major supermarkets and which are the easiest
• Registering for priority shopping
• Types of payment
• Using phones vs tablets vs computer
• Smaller, local (SE London) alternatives.
This course is aimed at older people, and adults who are curious about online shopping or wish to make their first shop, and is also useful for carers.
Attendees will also be eligible for a follow on 1 to 1 session.
Other sessions can be arranged if there is demand.
