News

Transport for London (TfL), in partnership with Lambeth Council, will begin major improvement works on the A23 Streatham Hill corridor this summer. The £24 million project aims to enhance road safety and support greener, more accessible travel by introducing new pedestrian crossings, protected cycle lanes, improved bus lanes and widened pavements.

Informal consultation for proposed changes to parking arrangements in Knights Hill ward is now live. Knights Hill ward borders the west side of Norwood Road and Knights Hill and reaches all the way west to Leigham Court Road - see the map below to check if you live in this ward. This CPZ also covers a tiny area of Streatham Wells ward as well - see the map in the newsletter below.

Streetworks Update

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
