News

Have you heard about the plans to combine all the Clinical Commissioning Groups in South East London into one organisation: Our Healthier South East London?

This information is mainly culled from the papers for the meeting of the Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Governing Body (11 November, Lambeth Town Hall)  and the new Lambeth Together newsletter.

Developers plan to demolish the corner site at Thurlow Park Road and Norwood Road - opposite the Tulse Hill Hotel to build 43 new homes in a block up to seven storeys high. The proposal for the new block is for eight 3-bedroom homes, twenty seven 2-bedroom homes and eight 2- bedroom homes. 17 of the flats are to be affordable. The Architect’s Journal article on the proposals can be read here.

About StreetWorks

StreetWorks is a unique community-led project to improve Norwood and Tulse Hill.  The project is funded by Transport for London and supported by officers at Lambeth Council. The Norwood Forum, the Tulse Hill Forum, local councillors and community groups are working together with residents, businesses, schools and road users to design a better space, remove the one-way system at Tulse Hill and provide training and support for future local projects.
