The volunteer-run West Norwood Free Film Festival (WNFFF) is gearing up for a fourth festival in spring 2020. They are looking for extra volunteers to organise and assist. As before, the films will be screened across West Norwood and all are completely free to enter. No experience is necessary to volunteer.
West Norwood was treated to its first festival in spring 2017, when the initial group of volunteers scrambled around the district for a week to screen eight diverse films at eight local venues. The success of that week led to a five-night Halloween mini-fest later in 2017, and then a more ambitious second free festival the next year. A third festival in 2019 featured more cult classics, family favourites, art-house gems and new releases. Most recently, the 2019 Halloween mini-fest even included a screening in the historic West Norwood cemetery.
