Fun and educational talks in a living room in Gipsy Hill. Eat, drink, laugh and learn from ordinary local people doing extraordinary things. Think TED talks but in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, eating and drinking and surrounded by new friends. Think of podcasts, but instead of wearing your headphones to just listen, you can ask the expert sitting next to you.
This Dinner Talk will be a brunch with a talk about the fear of speaking in public.
Pancakes, tea, coffee and other delicious food will be served, while learning why public speaking is popularly viewed as more frightening than death, no matter the size of your audience.
Best tips and techniques will be taught by Dan Ford, a former teacher, English lead and assistant head, who now works with both schools and corporations providing verbal communication training to help build confidence and boost career prospects.
Come solo or with a friend to a fun learning experience in our living room.
