Lambeth Council has confirmed that free school meal vouchers will again be available to parents and carers throughout the summer holidays to help with the cost of food for children who normally receive free school meals.

The amount available has been reduced this year to £2 per pupil, per day. As has been the case since the scheme was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, schools will administer the vouchers directly.

Parents and carers do not need to apply, as vouchers will be issued automatically by each child's school using their existing free school meal records.
