A new Mayor of Lambeth was elected this Wednesday following a vote at Full Council. Cllr Paul Valentine is now the first Green mayor of the borough.

Following the May local elections last month, Councillor Paul Valentine has been elected as Lambeth’s first Green Mayor — a historic moment for the borough. It also marks the first time the Green Party has become the largest group on Lambeth Council.
