Lambeth Council has developed a comprehensive plan detailing the steps it will take to reduce air pollution across the borough. Building on the success of previous initiatives and incorporating key lessons learned, the plan reinforces the Council’s commitment to achieving ambitious long-term air quality targets.
The proposed actions are designed to deliver the greatest benefits to the most vulnerable groups, including children, older adults, individuals with pre-existing health conditions, and those living in areas with the highest levels of pollution.
The Council is currently seeking feedback on the draft plan to ensure ongoing improvements to air quality in Lambeth. Residents, workers, and stakeholders are encouraged to share their views and help shape a cleaner, safer, and healthier future for the borough.
Feedback must be submitted by Friday 21 November.
