Pollinator Power: family activities with SLBI

The South London Botanical Institute invites families, children and nature enthusiasts to West Norwood Library for a lively and educational event celebrating the vital role of butterflies and bees. Visitors will learn why these pollinators are essential to the environment through engaging displays and conversations with knowledgeable hosts.

As part of the event, attendees will have the chance to create their own nature-inspired artwork and plant a wildflower pot to take home, helping to support pollinators right in their own gardens, balconies, or windowsills. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, get creative, and discover simple ways to protect local biodiversity.

When: Thursday, 31 July 2025, 2.30pm to 4.00pm
