Join a magical dusk walk in West Norwood Cemetery to hunt for bats as they emerge to forage for food. Equipped with bat detectors, every family group will have one to observe these fascinating creatures as they swirl overhead. This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages, with easy access along paved pathways.
The walk will be led by Dr. Iain Boulton, Lambeth’s ecologist, and is part of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project. Please note that the event will take place rain or shine, so come prepared! Booking is essential, as places are limited.
Important Information:
- No toilets available on-site
- No dogs or alcohol allowed
- The cemetery is closed during the event, so please arrive promptly
- Photos may be taken for reports and publicity, so inform the walk leader if you wish not to be photographed.
