Join the SE27 Street Gardeners for relaxed Sunday gardening sessions. Last year, the SE27 Street Gardeners launched a project to green up Norwood Road by replanting and maintaining nine pavement beds. This Spring, they’re excited to add even more plants and continue making our community even greener!

If you’re passionate about a greener West Norwood and Tulse Hill, or if you simply want a space to garden and connect with others, come along to one of their sessions! There’s an optional café or pub social afterward for anyone who wants to hang out.

No gardening experience is required - just come ready to learn about urban greening! Tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them, and make sure to wear sturdy footwear.

These gardening sessions are part of the Open Orchard initiative, where a group of local people are planting trees and caring for the garden at Norwood Bus Garage.

When: Sunday 9 March and Sunday 23 March, 10am - 12pm
