Every Wednesday you can join a local Wellbeing Walk in West Norwood. This is completely FREE, no booking required.
It’s almost impossible not to feel good when we’re walking outdoors – it’s a natural mood-booster! And the great news is we don’t need to walk far or fast to feel its effects on our health and wellbeing. Simply getting out is a tonic for our minds and bodies, and it can be sociable too.
Almost all of us can manage a stroll, and the Norwood Forum Wellbeing Walks make it easier to start walking and stay active. And you’ll certainly never be short of good company.
The West Norwood walks visit our most central green space: West Norwood Cemetery and include some social history with a brief talk about a different grave or monument each week. The walk is short and over easy terrain and is open to everyone. The group leader will provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind.
When: every Wednesday, rain or shine, unless not listed on our events page.
Where: meet at the West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre (reception area), 25 Devane Way, West Norwood, London, SE27 0DF; we leave the Centre sharp at 12:30pm.
Further info.: for your first time, please arrive by 12:20pm to allow for registration. The walk will finish at the Cemetery main gate by 1:30pm.
