Open Orchard is hosting a community planting session this Sunday 13 October, adding more greenery to the de-paved beds down Norwood Road. SE27 Street Gardeners is an initiative to encourage local people to look after the urban nature on the high street.

So far, Open Orchard has taken on the management of several mini gardens down Norwood Road with the support of local businesses providing water for the plants - and much needed refreshments for our volunteers.

Join them for a morning of planting evergreens with an optional pub social afterwards.

When: Sunday 13 October, 10am - 12pm
