What is a Safer Business Action Day?
The aim of the day is to deliver a focussed operation with joint patrols, the targeted intervention of offenders and a range of crime prevention activity, through:
- Working in collaboration to create awareness and understanding of the crimes that affect business
- Demonstrating the importance of tackling crime to protect and safeguard frontline staff
- Developing local, trusted relations leaving a legacy of partnership working
This is a joint approach between our local police officers, Station to Station BID and My Local Bobby, who work with the high street on the Shoplifting Prevention Scheme. We will be all be working in partnership with the businesses in the area to focus resources on designated locations to create a significant impact to reduce crime.
When: Friday 18 October from 12pm - 5pm
