Join the fun with Friends of Norwood Park and help make a difference to the green space. Meet new people, socialise and leave a lasting impression on the park. During the day you'll get the chance to:

• build a leaf composter
• finish painting the playground fence
• build benches 
• wood preserve the community garden fence
• beat back brambles (great therapy!) and add to the dead hedge
• plant and create a shrubbery 
• willow cropping and replanting
• refurb the pond
• AND be rewarded with good (warm) food and drink at the end of the day

When: Saturday 12 October, from 10am - 4pm
Where: Norwood Park, Salter's Hill, Norwood, London SE19 1EA. Members of the Friends of Norwood Park will be easy to spot in high vis vests, and they have a gazebo set up next to the Montessori.
Further info: the weather forecast looks good but a bit nippy so make sure you wear layers and scruffy clothing. Please bring gardening gloves or tools if you have any.
