Register to vote – by midnight, Tuesday 18 June – if you're not already registered

Update your details if you have recently moved home or will live somewhere else on election day. This includes university students coming home for the holidays.

Apply for a postal vote – by 5pm, Wednesday 19 June – if you want to vote by post

Every registered voter is entitled to vote by post.

Check if you have the correct photo ID to vote

If you don't have the correct ID you can apply for a free voter authority certificate (by 5pm, Wednesday 26 June) to vote in person.
