Further to our last story on the changes to rubbish and recycling collection, details are now available of Recycling Roadshows to be held on Saturdays in April through to July. These give everyone an opportunity to get rid of recyclable waste that cannot be collected as part of the weekly household recycling service - things like:
- Textiles and shoes
- Small electrical items
- Batteries
- Light bulbs and printer cartridges
- CDs and DVDs
- Rigid plastics such as buckets, children's toys and takeaway containers
- Metal items such as pans and gardening hand tools
The two roadshows in our area are on 11 May:
