A planning application (ref. 24/00704/FUL) has been submitted on the behalf of Reels Casino Slots Limited to convert the empty shop at 192 Norwood Road SE27 9AU (almost opposite the Queen of the South) to an adult gaming centre.

A similar application submitted in 2020 (ref. 20/02984/FUL) for 172-176 Norwood Road SE27 9AZ was approved but with reduced opening hours. The application was not implemented and the premises have since been occupied by an estate agent.

The agents for Reels Casino Slots Limited state that an application for a premises licence for 192 Norwood Road would be submitted to Lambeth Licensing if planning permission is granted.
